The Mexican – Mexican Food In a Food Court?

It is hard to find authentic Mexican food in Singapore, and I do not mean just nachos, burritos and tacos. Therefore imagine my surprise when I saw a Mexican food court stall, well-hidden within Kopitiam at Plaza By The Park.

The food served was inconsistent, but the Quesadillas ($8.50 for four) was the redeeming factor. The shell was crunchy, and the fillings more exciting with tender chicken, capsicum, onions and spices blending well with the chewy cheese.

You should try the real mexican spices down in the basement! It’s called Senor Burritos. (sell burrito only la) A small shack downstairs in raffles city, at city hall as well. But if you’re adventurous enough, try the habenero salsa which really packs a punch.
